ELSIE M. HAMMOND, 74, of Crisfield, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at her home.
Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Wilhelmina Emmerick Fondelheit.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Fellowship Assembly of God.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Howard K. Hammond, Sr., Crisfield; a son, Howard K. Hammond, Jr., Crisfield; two brothers, Herb Fondelheit, Connecticut and Carl Fondelheit, Baltimore; and a sister, Margaret Garney, Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by a son, Corbin N. Hammond in 1991; and a sister, Dorothy Higdlon.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2008 at 1 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Alton Hinson will officiate. Interment will be private in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
