Elmira Lucille Goldsborough Ford, 85, of Crisfield, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Alice B. Tawes Nursing Home.

Born in Crisfield on February 2, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Frances Betts Goldsborough.  Over the years she worked at the Crisfield Cap Factory, Rubberset, Captain's Carry Out, and on the water with her family.

She was a member of the Crisfield Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting, riding around listening to music, making CD's for family and friends, shopping at Boscov's and Macy's, and spending time with her family.  She also had a few favorite pets over the years, "Rascal" and "Jiffy Girl".

She is survived by three children, Ricky Burke of Temperanceville, VA, Randall Burke (Kandy Burke) of Crisfield, and Robin Windsor (John Windsor, Sr.) of Crisfield; two brothers, Charles "Chalky" Goldsborough of Crisfield and Johnny Goldsborough (Lori Goldsborough) of Westover; nine grandchildren, Angie Gibbons, Amy Thomas, Daniel Burke, Brian Burke, David Ross, Chucky Betts, Myra Kay Baker, Brandon Britton, and John Windsor, Jr.; 21 great-grandchildren, including her "Sweet Pea" Maegan Britton; a special niece, Mary Frances Davis of Crisfield; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Ireland Burke, Sr.; her second husband, Emory Ford, Sr.; her son, Ronnie Burke; her daughter, Rona Betts; her grandchildren, Bunky Britton, Nicki Betts, Butch Betts, and Rodney Burke; her sister, Ruth Ward; her daughter-in-law, Pamela Burke; and her sister-in-law, Regena "Jeanne" Goldsborough.

Funeral services officiated by Pastor John Thorne and Pastor Michael Vaughan will be Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 1 PM at the Crisfield Church of God.  A viewing will be from 12-1 PM.  Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
