Ellestine Abbott, 90, of Crisfield, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.
She was born December 22, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Agnes Nelson Lee.
She worked many years at Mrs. Paul's Kitchen and then at McCory's Five and Dime.
She was preceded in death by her mother and 2 sons. She is survived by a son, David Abbott of D.C., a daughter, Wenona Matthews and family of Marion, 4 grandchildren, Joe Abbott, Jr. and family of Parsonsburg, Peggy Jo Abbott and family of Delaware, Davita (Degi) Carman and family of Crisfield, Alicia Matthews of Marion, and several great grandchildren.
There will be no services as she donated her body to science.
