Ella Jean Holland, 90, affectionately known as "GG", died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 20, 2012.

Born in Crisfield on September 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Charles Landon and Henrietta Marshall Landon. Her husband, Sherman Holland, preceded her in death on March 1, 1991.

She was retired from Rubberset Corp. in Crisfield.

She loved being home, and dearly loved spending time with her great-grandchildren. She always loved her cats and would take care of any that came to her door.

She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Cullen and husband Steve of Crisfield, and Bonnie Holland of Salisbury; two grandchildren, Christine Brittingham and husband Bobby, and Brent Cullen and wife Kristy, all of Crisfield; four great-grandchildren, Megan and Emily Brittingham, and Riley and Brady Cullen; an especially close niece, Fay Franklin of Crisfield; and several other special nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers who made it possible for her to be cared for at her home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. Pastor Todd Hurley will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
