Edward Martin Vozar, 80, of Crisfield and formerly of Gary, Indiana, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at his home.
Born in Gary, Indiana on May 31, 1938, he was a son of the late Martin Vozar and the late Ella Zorn Fowler. He had been making his home in Crisfield for the last five years.
He worked in maintenance for County Park in Indiana, and was a United States Air Force veteran.
A member of the Stanley Cochran Post #16 American Legion in Crisfield, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed nature, animals, bird watching, and gardening. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Walterman and husband Derryk "Deke"of Crisfield; his son, Kevin Vozar; four grand children, Christina Zalewski and husband Steve, Maghen Walterman, Trace Walterman, and Derryk James Walterman; a great grand daughter, Emma; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Elaine Lindhal and Joyce Sykes; and a grandson, Bradley Curtis.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
