DOROTHY MAE RICE, 100, of Crisfield and formerly of Baltimore City, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.
Born in Baltimore City on March 29, 1911, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Anna White Rudiger. Her husband, Walter J. Rice, died in 1985.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two children, Wesley H. Rice and his wife Elizabeth of Potomac Falls, VA and Janet M. Robinson of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Walter Gary Rice. She was the last surviving of three siblings.
A private urn interment will be held at a later date.
