Dorothy Maryann Settan, 82, of Salisbury and formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke.
Born in Chicago, Illinois on July 30, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Harriett Miller. Her husband, Charles J. Settan preceded her in death in September of 2006.
A homemaker, Dorothy had been living in Salisbury for 34 years after coming from Glen Burnie. She enjoyed going to yard sales, but above all she was a loving mother and grandmother, and always had a smile on her face.
She is survived by her children, Larry Cosner of Salisbury and Jerry Cosner and his companion Mary of Bothell, Washington; grandchildren, Jennifer Parks and her husband Steve and Erin Cosner all of Crisfield; great-grandchildren, Haley, Zachery, and Justin Parks; daughter-in-law, Hazel Cosner of Crisfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, James "Jim" Cosner who passed away on August 5, 2017, and her brother, Ken Miller.
An urn interment alongside her husband will be at a later date at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hartley Hall Nursing Home, 1006 Market Street, Pocomoke City, MD 21851.
