Obituary

DOROTHY LEE "Dot" MARSHALL, of Crisfield, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield. She would have been 94 on Wednesday.

Born in Crisfield on December 22, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Clarence "Putty" and Mildred Ward Riggin. Her husband, George Thomas Marshall, Jr., preceded her in death July 29, 1994.

She was retired from Rubberset Corp in Crisfield.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Crisfield where she was active in the UMW and the Debra Circle. She also loved to cook and travel. She enjoyed trips with the AARP and one of the highlights of her life was a trip to Hawaii with her husband.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Marshall and wife Sandy, and George Thomas Marshall, III and wife Bea, all of Crisfield; a son-in-law, Roger Tull of Crisfield; three sisters, Jan Blades and Margaret Parks, both of Crisfield and Barbara Stewart of Hartford, Connecticut; a brother, Phillip Riggin of Leesburg, Florida; a sister-in-law, Gladys Blades of Crisfield; four grandchildren, Kendra Marshall, Jeff Marshall, Lori Mrohs and husband Mike, and Terri Scott and husband David; seven great-grandchildren, Amanda and Connor Mrohs, Jordan and Kelsie Scott, and Cameron, Ethan and Paige Payne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Faye Tull; four sisters, Joy Fay Dize, Elestine Riggin, Frances Sterling and Dolly Clow Miller; a granddaughter, Katina Marshall; and a great-granddaughter, Caroline Elizabeth Mrohs.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Sally Russum will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
