Dora Lee Scott, 79, of Crisfield, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield December 21, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Dize Thornton.

She was a homemaker and manager of the former Modern Cleaners Dry Cleaning.

She was a member of Evangelical Christian Church and was active in the Crisfield Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Denny Scott of Crisfield; two daughters, Terri Dize and husband Harvey "Corky" of Marion and Denise Scott of Fruitland; grandson, Jason Dize and wife Jamie of Virginia Beach, VA; great-grandchildren, Madison, Allanah, and Dakota; sister, Frances Evans of Marion; and her beloved pet dog, "Fluff".

A graveside funeral service and interment will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.  The Rev. Stephen S. Willing will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Fellowship Bible Church, 5910 Crisfield Hwy., Marion Station, MD, 21838.
