Dora Lynn Corbin, 70, of Crisfield and formerly of Tylerton, Smith Island, passed away at her home on June 17, 2026.
Born in Crisfield on January 14, 1956 and raised on Smith Island, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Loretta “Adelaide” Tyler Marshall.
Dora was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1974 and attended Goldey-Beacom College. She was a seafood worker for many years, assisting her husband and eldest son, Bryan, in their crab house operations.
Active in her community, was a dedicated member of Tylerton Church, where she taught Sunday School and faithfully served as Treasurer for many years and was a member of the Ladies Aid. Upon moving to Crisfield, she attended Christ Fellowship Bible Church in Marion. In addition, she was a member of the Smith Island Crabmeat Co-Op, Ladies Auxiliary of the Tylerton Fire Department, and taught swimming lessons for many years on the island.
Dora enjoyed listening to oldies music and was an avid reader. A woman of deep faith, she devoted her life to the Lord and found great joy in her family. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren beyond measure and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Harvey Bruce Corbin of Crisfield; her children, Bryan Harvey Corbin and wife Kristen, Daren “Adam” Corbin, and Casey Michael Corbin, all of Crisfield; her brother, Eric Gentry Marshall and wife Elaine of Edgewater, Maryland; her grandchildren, Victoria Faith Corbin, Kimberly Denise Corbin, Anna Grace Corbin, and Kamryn Alicia Corbin; her aunts and uncles, Sandra Evans and husband Chelton, Carl Tyler and wife Pamela, and Glenn Marshall and wife Karen; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many cherished friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Denise Gail Marshall and Donna Rosemary Marshall; and her daughter-in-law, Rachel Faye Corbin.
Funeral services will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Reverends Stephen S. Willing, Jim Evans, and Everett Landon will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Fellowship Bible Church, 5910 Crisfield Highway, Marion, MD 21838, or to Tylerton Church, 3008 Union Church Road, Tylerton, MD 21866.
