Donna Rae Wigglesworth, 77, of Crisfield, died Thursday, December 9, 2021 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Crisfield July 29, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Meyer Lee Ward and Idella Byrd Ward.

She was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1962 and the PRMC School of Nursing where she was on Scholarship from the Cambridge American Legion.  She was a retired registered nurse working for 31 years with the Somerset County Health Department.  Over the duration of her career she also worked several years each at PRMC, Long Beach Memorial Hospital, Downey Veterans Hospital, and McCready Hospital.

Her memberships include Asbury United Methodist Church, and the Ladies Auxiliaries of the Crisfield Fire Department and American Legion Post #16.  She loved BINGO, cruising, traveling, and being with family.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Michael Chandler Wigglesworth, Sr. of Crisfield; two sons, Michael C. Wigglesworth, Jr. and wife Traci of Salisbury and Mark Wigglesworth and wife Bobbie of Crisfield; four grandchildren, Amy Wigglesworth of Florida, David Wigglesworth of Salisbury, Robbie Wigglesworth of Crisfield and Eddie Wigglesworth of Crisfield; brother-in-law, George M. Wigglesworth and wife Phyllis of Princess Anne; sister-in-law, Connie Wigglesworth of Salisbury; special friend, Carole Holland and husband Bobby of Crisfield; special cousins, Cabby Dize and wife Robin of Crisfield and Judy Smith of Crisfield; and many other special relatives.  She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Fred Wigglesworth and her special friend, Pat Stern.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. Robert Daniels will be Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior.  Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
