Donna J. Cox, age 71, of Georgetown, DE passed away peacefully October 19, 2019 due to complications from Lymphoma. She was born on October 23, 1947 to Carol and Vesta Dorman. She married her soulmate and true love, William "Sonny" Cox in December of 1962, who preceded her in death in 2003.

Donna loved helping people and served for 40 years in the ministry alongside of her husband. She loved sewing, doing crafts and going camping and to horse shows with her daughter. Donna was a talented musician and director of Dinner Theater.

Donna's life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse; Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Her life was a daily example of strength and determination.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her brother, Leon and her sister, Joyce. She is survived by three children: Denean, Jarrod, and Joel; five brothers: Jerry, Dan, David, Tim, Ladell; six grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved deeply.
