Dolores "Kippy" Pruitt Marshall, 86, of Crisfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at her home.

Born October 31, 1931 on Tangier Island, VA, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Nellie Ayres Crockett Pruitt.

A graduate of Crisfield High School, she attended Church Home Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD where she graduated and obtained her RN degree. She was a registered nurse at McCready Memorial Hospital where she retired after more than 40 years of service.

A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed shopping, decorating, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.  She also had a great love for her home, Tangier Island.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, George E. "Junie" Marshall, Jr. of Crisfield; her children, "Tripp" Marshall of Marion and Kathy Marshall Guild, who she affectionately called "Leigh", and her husband Jeff of Virginia Beach; her granddaughter, Margaret "Maggie" Ayres Guild; two brothers, Alfred Pruitt and wife Janie of Onancock and Mark Pruitt and wife Robin of Belle Haven; her sister-in-law, Jane Riggin of Crisfield; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter in 1955; two sisters, Charlotte Miller and Priscilla Bromely; and daughter-in-law, Patti B. Marshall.

Funeral services at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11 AM where a viewing will be held one hour prior.  The Rev. Robert Daniels will officiate.  Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
