DOLLY RAE HOFFMAN, 90, of Crisfield and formerly of New Jersey, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.

Born in Crisfield on January 20, 1921, she was a daughter of the late George William and Lyda Geneva Hoffman.

A retired secretary, she was a graduate of Battin High School for Girls in 1939 and Drake's Business College, both in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

She attended Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Crisfield.

She is survived by her sister, Elaine Hoffman, of Crisfield; and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11 AM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield. Pastor Tad Maroon will officiate. Friends may call at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield Wednesday morning from 10-10:45 AM. A procession will follow to the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tawes Nursing Home, 201 Hall Highway, or Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue Squad, both Crisfield, MD 21817.
