Diane Kay Pruitt, age 70, of Jarvisburg, North Carolina, and formerly of Crisfield, MD passed away at her home on Friday, June 30, 2023.

Diane was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia on July 25, 1952, to Madeline Lewark and the late, Julian Lewark, she was the wife of Warren Ray Pruitt. Diane graduated from Crisfield High School in 1970 and then continued her education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where she received a Bachelor's in Math in 1975 and then received her Master's of Science in 1983.

In addition to her spouse of fifty-one years, she is survived by her mother, Madeline Pruitt; sons, Julian Ray (Susan) Pruitt and James Nathan (Michelle) Pruitt; brother, Ricky (Ruth) Lewark; sister, Linda (Eddy) Somers; and grandchildren, Trent (26), Molly (17), Riley (15), Sophia (14), Lilly (13), and Lochlan (11). She was preceded in death by her father, Julian Pruitt.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Grandy Assembly of God, 121 Augusta Drive, Grandy, NC on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends and relatives for a reception immediately following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
