Deborah Lynn Labo, 60, of Crisfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her home.
Born in Crisfield on January 29, 1961, she was a daughter of June "Rose" Messick of Fruitland and the late Rev. Jerry Messick.
Deborah was raised in New Jersey after her parents had to relocate for work. She graduated from Oakcrest High School in New Jersey and worked at Bacharach Hospital as a secretary. After moving back to Crisfield in 1991, she worked at the Wicomico County Health Department and later worked at Sherwin Williams and most recently, the former McCready Hospital.
Her hobbies included puzzles, Sudoku, painting, playing video games with her children, watching sitcoms on TV and reading her Bible. She loved her family dearly and her church family but most of all her Lord and Savior!
Along with her mother she is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jordan Wayne Labo of Crisfield; two children, Joshua Jordan Messick Labo and daughter, Rachel Labo and daughter-in- law, Emily, all of Crisfield; step-son, Jordan Wayne Labo, Jr. of Crisfield; siblings, Wanda Emely/David of Westover and William Schweizer/Linda of Hammonton, NJ; "special sister," Mabel Knierim/Marty of Marion Station; brothers and sisters-in-law, Phillip Labo/Danielle, Pansy Rayfield, Monte Labo/Mary, Mark Labo/Linda, and Duane Labo/Gayle, all of Crisfield; special friends, Mary Ann Taylor of Crisfield and Martha Martinez of Mays Landing, NJ; and many nieces, nephews, and fur babies.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Labo; brothers, Terry Schweizer and Jerry Messick, Jr.; and in-laws, Felipo and Geraldine Labo.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home at 1 pm where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jerry Hughes will officiate and he will be assisted by Rev. Terry Riggin. Interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are may be sent to Eastern Shore Evangelistic Church, 5789 Charles Cannon Road, Marion Station , MD 21838.
