Davita Jo Campbell Matthews Carman, affectionately known as "Degi", 50, of Crisfield, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake.

Born in Crisfield on June 22, 1971, she was a daughter of Wenona "Weenie" Abbott Matthews and George "Allen" Matthews of Marion Station and the late Wesley Varnel Campbell who died December 25, 1999.

She was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1989 and worked as an in home caregiver. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband of 30 years, Eric "Heath" Carman; children, Matthew Carman, Johnathan Carman, and James Wesley Carman, all of Crisfield; grandson, Nolan of Crisfield; siblings, Alicia Matthews of Marion, and Emiley Campbell and Sarah Campbell, both of Florida; step-mother, Rose Campbell of Florida; cousin, Joe Abbott, Jr. and wife Sonya of Parsonsburg; special nephew, Wesley of Florida; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by all her grandparents including her special grandmother, Ellestine Abbott.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 AM.  Pastor David Diskin will officiate.  Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
