David James "Peanut" Tull, 74, of Crisfield, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Hartley Hall Nursing and Rehab in Pocomoke.

Born in Crisfield on February 6, 1952, he was the son of the late Norris James Tull and Elizabeth Sally Sterling Tull.

David was a waterman and worked many years as an oyster shucker for Metompkin Bay Oyster Company. Working was his passion, and in his spare time, he enjoyed relaxing at home while watching classic westerns on television.

He is survived by two daughters, Debbie A. Dennis (Kenny) of Eden, and Tracy Dunston (Frankie) of Crisfield; two sisters Octavia “Tater” Linton (Harvey), and Carolyn Cullen, both of Crisfield; sister-in-law, Brenda Tull of Crisfield; a grandson, Mason; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Tull; brothers, George Tull, Charles Tull, and Richard Tull; as well as a sister, Bonnie Tull.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the Crisfield Wesleyan Church at 2 PM. Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate. Urn interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
