IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David Bradley
Pruitt
July 8, 1955 – May 1, 2022
David Bradley Pruitt, age 66, of Quantico, MD, passed away peacefully at his sister's home in Salisbury, MD on May 1, 2022.
He was born on July 8, 1955, son of Betty Jane Pruitt Chamblee and the late Edwin E. Pruitt.
David was a talented musician who found a love of music at the early age of 14. It was a love he continued in his adult years playing bass guitar in several local bands; the first being, "The Ventura's" formed in Crisfield, MD and the latest being "Sticky Situation" of Delaware.
He was a gifted upholsterer and could be found in his daytime hours making sails, weather curtains, and cushions for boats. This was a talent he inherited from his grandfather, the late Alton Pruitt of Crisfield.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Lydia Kathryn Pruitt Croce, her husband Eric, and their son Owen of Milford; and sister, Patricia "Tish" Dennis and her son Patrick L. Helgason of Salisbury.
David's daughter, Lydia was his greatest love and what he was most proud of in his life. He was loved by his family and friends who are all deeply saddened at his passing. One thing agreed by all is what they loved most about David was how he could light up a room when he entered. He always had a joke or funny comment to share and make everyone smile. He lived life to the fullest.
Son, Father, Brother, and Friend; we love and miss you and you will forever be in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a future date this summer.
