DAVID M. PRICE, 52, of Crisfield, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore following a sudden illness.
Born in Crisfield, December 3, 1956, he was a son of Janet Lee "Tease" Tull Price of Crisfield and the late Donald M. Price who died November 7, 1991.
A 1975 graduate of Crisfield High School, and a 1979 graduate of Salisbury University with a B.S. degree in business, he was the owner of Tull & Price Insurance and Real Estate, Inc. in Crisfield, where he enjoyed working since age 10. He also acquired his real estate license at the young age of 19.
He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield, member and past president of Kiwanis Club in Crisfield, member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #16 in Crisfield, member of the Somerset County Economic Commission, member of the Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044, former member of the Board of Directors of the Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce, an active member of the Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the National, Maryland and Coastal Association of Realtors. He enjoyed spending time at Gordon's, reading newspapers and being with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Lee "Tease" Price of Crisfield; his brother and sister-in-law, Donald P. and Judy L. Price of Princess Anne; his niece and nephew, Jill E. and James M. Price, both of Princess Anne; his uncle, Larry Price and his wife, Fran, of Wilson, North Carolina; his great-aunt, Nellie Mae Smith of Princess Anne and formerly of Aberdeen; and a host of fiends.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. H. Parker Tull, Jr. and Mr. & Mrs. M. Myron Price.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call Monday evening from 6-9 and one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Dr. William Davis will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's Episcopal Cemetery in Marion Station.
