Darwin E. "Corky" Sanders, Jr., 64, of Marion Station, passed away at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Born in Baltimore on November 15, 1959, he was a son of Virginia Ann Barnes Sanders. His father, Darwin E. Sanders, Sr., preceded him in death.

He was a 1978 graduate of Perry Hall High School in Baltimore and worked as a Supervisor for the Somerset County Sanitary District. In his earlier years, he enjoyed working as a Waterman.

Corky loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, crabbing, camping, hunting, and most recently, motorcycle riding.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nancy Sanders of Marion Station; son, Josh Sanders and fiancé Lindsay of Marion Station; brothers, Jody Sanders, Terry Sanders, and Chris Sanders; grandchildren, Jaden Sanders, Ava Sanders, Bella Sanders, Kady Sanders, and Quinn Sanders; mother-in-law, Sue A. Zack; "much younger sister," Donna Palmer; special cousin, Jake Kitzmiller; best friend, Mark Kestner; and many other relatives, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard "Richie" Sanders; brother, Timmy Sanders; and father-in-law, David Zack, Jr.

There will be no services held at this time.
