Daniel Robert Soukup

Daniel Robert Soukup, 84, of Seaford, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 at his home.

Born in Upstate New York on December 2, 1941, he was a son of the late Tom and Grace Nelson Soukup.

He was a retired Senior Technical Assistant at DuPont in Seaford, DE and was a faithful member of Mission Community Church in Laurel where he served as Youth Leader.

He is survived by his wife of almost 54 years, Louise Soukup of Seaford; a son, Guy Doel (Bridget); daughter-in-law, Jody Soukup; grandchildren, Rachel Dykes, Devan Soukup, Noah Soukup, Blaine Doel, and Sidney Doel; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Liam, and Thalia; niece, Carrie Jones; nephew, Richard Jones; and sisters-in-law, Catherine Davis and Lillian Labore.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Kevin Soukup and Marc Soukup; and siblings, Tom Soukup and Patricia Jones.

Memorial services officiated by Pastor Scott Conn will be held at Mission Community Church in Laurel, DE on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11 AM. A visitation will be one hour prior. Urn interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Oriole, MD at a later date.
