Daniel Phillip "Flip Flop" Howard, 69, of Crisfield, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield November 23, 1947, he was a son of the late Thomas Theo Howard and Geraldine Adams Howard Rantz.

He enjoyed listening to music, watching wrestling, dancing in his younger years, hanging out at Gordon's, and traveling to Disney World. He last worked selling the County Times newspaper on the Gordon's street corner.

He is survived by two brothers, Donald Howard of Crisfield and Franklin Howard of Baltimore; a sister, Mary Louise Rubio of Crisfield; and seventeen nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Howard, and two sisters, Peggy King and Patsy Ward Brighton.

A memorial service officiated by the Rev. Bob Daniels will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a visitation will be one hour prior. Urn interment will be at a later date in Crisfield Cemetery.
