Dale "Mickey" Briddell, 76, of Westover, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 28, 2020 from TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury.
Born May 13, 1944, he grew up in Marion and was a son of the late Milton O. Briddell Jr. and Alice Liller Briddell.
A graduate of Marion High School, he was a machinist working at Rubberset Sherwin Williams for 36 years until his retirement. He also worked part time on the family farm. Following his retirement, he was a driver for Shore Transit and worked for Swift Farms.
Mickey served in the Army Reserves for 8 years and was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church. In his younger days, he loved to fish; he also enjoyed attending air shows, steam conventions, and antique tractor pulls. Mickey was a man with a good sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce Lee Briddell; his daughter, Tanya Dale Briddell Butler and her husband, Eric Butler; a sister-in-law, Donna Liller; a nephew, Jeff (Julie) Liller; and a great niece, Lily Anne Liller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Paul "Junie" Ardis, Jr. and Donald K. Liller.
A graveside funeral service and interment will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 at 2 PM at Rehobeth Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Tom Maddox will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mickey may be made to Rehobeth Baptist Church, 5772 Shelltown Road, Westover, MD 21871.
