Connie Fae Cox, 82, of Crisfield, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at McCready Memorial Hospital.
Born in Crisfield on March 19, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John and Rebecca Sterling Mason. Her husband, Charles Wesley Cox preceded her in death on July 4, 2001.
A graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1949, she attended Salisbury State University and worked 40 years as the director for the Crisfield Mac Center and also provided home health care for 20 years.
Connie loved the Lord and was a founding member of the Tabernacle Worship Center in Westover. She loved going to church and loved helping people.
She is survived by a son, Greg Cox and wife Cathy of Marion; beloved granddaughter, Christie Lynn Cox Sterling and husband Ryan; a sister, Teresa "Snookie" Piskor of Crisfield; a brother-in-law, Bill Cox and wife Pam of Crisfield; a special life-long friend, Becky White of Pocomoke; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Baby Russell and Murphy Cox; a sister, Sharon Mason Crockett; and a brother, John "Baby Buddy" Mason.
Funeral services will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM, where a viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor LeBron Palmer will officiate along with special words by Bishop Greg Cox.
