Clyde King Rainbolt, 90, of Pocomoke, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.
Born in Dover, Kansas on August 23, 1922, he was a son of the late Clyde King and Laura Randall Rainbolt. His wife, Phyllis Jean Maus Rainbolt, died in 2006.
He was in the lumber business for many years, and also was a mechanic and a truck driver. He was a US Navy World War II veteran.
He is survived by three children, Howard Rainbolt of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dale Rainbolt of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Mary "Susie" Rainbolt of Pocomoke; a brother, Marshall Rainbolt of Tenn.; a sister, Ethel Petersilly of Kansas; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Rainbolt; and a sister, Irene Norton.
Services will be private.
