CLAUDIA A. BUTLER, 65, of Princess Anne, died Friday, November 28, 2008 at her home.

Born in Crisfield on November 14, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Julia Pruitt Crockett.

She was a home health care provider and a member of the Crisfield Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Linwood Butler of Princess Anne; two sons, Shawn Michael Butler and wife Kelly of Princess Anne and Dean Joseph Butler and wife Mary of Pocomoke City; one daughter, Julia Ann Applegate of Baltimore; nine grandchildren, Ashley Brittingham, Jamie Brittingham, Lacey Wagner, Johni Applegate, Taylor Applegate, John Applegate, Laura Butler, Chase Butler and Lisa Marie Butler; one great-grandchild, Dakota; four step-children, Woody Butler, Richard Butler, Diane Ballard and Jo Whaley; three brothers, Jack Crockett, Terry Crockett, and Douglas Joseph Crockett, all of Crisfield; two sisters, Patricia Rae Culbertson and Virginia Lee Culbertson, both of Crisfield; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 1, 2008 at 1 PM at the Crisfield Church of God where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne.
