Claude Swanson "Hawk" Hawkins, 79, of Crisfield, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Lynchburg, VA on October 11, 1928, he was the son of the late William Edward Hawkins and Katie Lee Brown Hawkins. He loved and was very devoted to his late wife, Elsie J. Hawkins, who died December 25, 1998.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Edgemere, MD and was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed talking politics. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore, MD.
He is survived by several friends.
Funeral services will be private. Entombment will be held at a later date at Fort Hill Memorial Park in Lynchburg, VA.
