CLARA L. TYLER, 94, of Ewell, Smith Island, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.

Born in Pennsgrove, Pennsylvania October 27, 1916, she was a daughter of the late William and Melissa Shehee Ellsworth.

She was a homemaker and a member of Ewell United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Roger Evans and his wife Dot of Tangier, VA; a step-son, Weldon Tyler and his wife Henrietta of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Georgie Eutsy of Cambridge; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Parks of Tangier, VA; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Clyde Evans and Carlos Tyler; a son, John Milton "Mickey" Evans; a daughter, Genevieve Marsh; and two sisters, Frances Lewis and Lucy Bradshaw.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. Steve Willing will be held Friday, April 15, 2011 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
