Cheryl Lentz Pruitt, 61, Salisbury, MD and formerly of Crisfield, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at PRMC.

Born in Crisfield on June 8, 1956 she was the daughter of the late Bud Lentz and Hettie Thomas Lentz.

Cheryl was an avid movies buff who loved spending time with her family.  She was also an excellent cook who enjoyed being in the kitchen preparing large family meals with her sister Judy.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Ronald Pruitt; children, Candice Smith (Corey) of Mexico,  MO and Russel Simmons of Springwater, NY; step-children, Billie Jo Chandler (Eddie) of Crisfield, Betty Ann Allen ( James) of Crisfield, Ruthie Willey (Warren) of Crisfield, Ronnie Pruitt, Jr. of Crisfield, and Elizabeth (Sissy) Evans of Salisbury; grandchildren, Magen Foreman of Mexico, MO, Hayden Foreman of Mexico, MO, and Gabriel Simmons of Bluffton, SC; Two great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Lentz (Kay) of Brandon, MO; sisters, Judy Bennett (Chris) of Lewes, DE, Brenda Bickerton (Monty) of Rhodesdale, and Eleanor Potter of Mardela Springs, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Carlis Somers.

A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Crossroads Church of God, 708 Sharps Point Road, Fruitland, MD at 11:30AM officiated by her cousin, Reverend Harvey Tyler.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time at 11:30 AM.
