Charles Lewis Whitney, 75, of Hebron, died Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

He was born in Crisfield on August 15, 1944 and was the son of the late Kathryn Lewis Whitney who died in 1951.

He was a graduate of Marion High School class of 1962 and was a truck driver.  Over the years, he worked for the US Postal Service, Linton's Seafood, and Rosen Construction.  He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, crabbing, and reading the Bible.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara Dykes Whitney; and many other relatives.

Interment was private in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
