Chad Wayne Ward, 50, of Marion Station, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at his home.

Born in Crisfield on October 10, 1974, he was the son of Wayne and Gayle Lawson Ward.

He was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1993, and worked 20 years as a tree trimmer for Asplundh Tree Expert Co. and later at Beaver Tree Service until he became disabled.

Chad loved sports and played baseball and soccer in high school.  He enjoyed watching NFL and UFC and was an avid Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders fan.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Stephanie Ward; two sons, Austin and Connor Ward; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at the Crisfield Church of God on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 1 PM. A visitation will be from 12-1 PM. Pastor Michael Vaughan will be officiating.  Urn burial will be at a later date in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
