Catherine Elizabeth Carroll-Fischer, 74, of Crisfield and formerly of Montgomery County, died Monday, March 29, 2021 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.  She had been making her home in Crisfield for the past 15 years.

Born in Charlotte, NC on August 18, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Louise McCoy Carroll.

She was a retired attorney and former English teacher who was fluent in French and German.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, collecting art, and hanging out with her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Kurts Michael; her daughter, Gretchen Louise Durand; and two grandsons, Nicholas Vogel and Brendan Vogel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Eric William Fischer on May 2, 2000.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
