Carolyn Evans Roberts, 83, of Crisfield, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in her home. She was born on Smith Island on September 14, 1933, the daughter of the late Polly and Leon Evans.

She graduated from Jefferson School of Commerce in Salisbury, MD in 1969. She was a homemaker and loving wife of R. Blaine Roberts who passed away in 2016. Her passions were picking crabs and sewing. She and her husband enjoyed the company of their poodles, Charlie and Junior. Her family is thankful for the wonderful caregivers she had during the past year.

She is survived by her stepsons, Christopher Blaine Roberts of Salisbury and Gregory Gene Roberts of Stephenson, VA; step-grandchildren, Scott Roberts of Salisbury, Kristin Spurrier of Ocean Pines, Brian Steward of Wilmington, NC, Steve Sitcler of Stephenson, Amy Roach of Inwood, WV and Daniel Roberts of Morganton, NC; her niece, Jeanne Morgan Mangrum and husband Michael of Oklahoma City, OK; her nephew Joseph Evans of Lynchburg, VA; step-great-grandchildren, Alex Spurrier, Caitlin Roach, Zach Roach, Dylan Roberts, and Gwen Roberts; and step-great-great-grandchild, Andy Roach.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Roselyn Morgan; brother-in-law, William Cranston Morgan; and a nephew, Bill Morgan.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at noon at Christ Fellowship Bible Church in Marion.
