Carol Lynn Howard, 63, of Crisfield, went home to be with the Lord on Monday August 10, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Crisfield on December 6, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Harris, Sr. and Myrtle Harris.

A graduate of Crisfield High School, she was an employee for Sherwin Williams Co. in Crisfield for 18 years before her retirement.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Melissa Howard of Crisfield and Tracy Howard (Hank) of Princess Anne; her companion of 24 years, Keith Pruitt of Westover, MD; a sister, Donna Hickman; two brothers, Melvin Harris, Jr. (the late Donna Harris, whom she loved dearly and was her best friend), and Tommy Harris (wife Dawn Harris), all of Crisfield; five grandkids who she loved dearly and were her world, Jason Borden, Nick Lewark, Avery Dixon, Kaylee and Brantley Bedsworth; a very special niece, Natalie Hickman; and several other nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joy Fay Gilson and her aunt, Peggy Culbertson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
