Carol Ann Dryden Ross, 71, of Pocomoke City, died Sunday, April 2, 2023 at her home.

Born in Crisfield June 28, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Alan H. "Crow" and Jennie Marie Crockett Dryden.  Her husband, William R. "Bob" Ross, died April 16, 2021.

She is survived by her nephew, Alan E. "Buddy" Dryden, Jr. of Crisfield; sisters-in-law, Karen Jane Crockett Dryden of Crisfield and Terri Ross Taylor of Bloxom, VA; step-sons, Matthew Ross, and Benjamin Ross; step-granddaughter, Callie Ross; several cousins, friends and neighbors; and her beloved pet cat, "Jinx".

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Alan E. Dryden, Sr. on April 27, 2016.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11 AM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a local Humane Society or Animal Control.
