Carol Redman Crandell, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 13, 2024.  She had been suffering several years from breast cancer and succumbed to heart failure.  She was 75.

She grew up in Shady Side, MD and graduated from Southern High School in Lothian.  She was an executive secretary at Chesapeake Instrument Corp. before working for many years at the Anne Arundel State's Attorney's Office.

Her husband, James Lerch Crandell, died in 2001.

Mrs. Crandell is survived by her son, James Carroll Crandell of Crisfield; and two brothers, William J. Redman of Churchton, MD and David M. Redman of Woodbridge, VA.

There are no services planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
