Obituary

Caleb Stansbury "Stan" Cramer, Jr. 95, of Crisfield and formerly of New Jersey, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on July 30, 1917, he was the son of the late Caleb Stansbury and Lucy Ann Gaskil Cramer. He was preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy Cramer and Anna Cramer. He had been making his home in Crisfield since 1981.

Mr. Cramer served in the US Merchant Marines and was a World War II veteran. He was a retired tug boat captain and was a tour boat captain of the motor vessel "Miss Atlantic City".

He was a 60-year member of the Trinity Masonic Lodge #79 in Atlantic City. He built several boats himself, and also enjoyed his gardens and his flowers. He loved spending time with his loving co-companion, "Daisy", his neighbor's dog.

He is survived by his special friends, Margaret Sue Strain, and Margaret and Bill Charnick, all of Crisfield and Ken and Debbie Wescoat of Atlantic City. He is also survived by his special pal, "Daisy".

Along with his parents and his wives, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alma.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
