BETHANY BEACH
C. KEITH LAWSON, 52, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at his new home in Salisbury.
Born in Crisfield, Maryland on April 17, 1955, he was the loving and devoted son of Ruth Briddell Lawson of Orlando, Florida and the late Alfred J. "Tut" Lawson, Jr. who died Nov. 22, 1966.
He was a graduate of Lake Highland Preparatory School and University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Keith Lawson was a businessman whose multiple businesses included Shore Foods and Sandy Toz, both in Bethany Beach. He maintained residences in Fenwick Island, Delaware, and Orlando, Florida. He was a Baltimore Ravens fan as well as an Orlando Magic fan for years. Keith was past president of the Bethany Fenwick Island Area Chamber of Commerce, member of the Ocean City Ravens Roost at the Green Turtle and was a friend to cats everywhere. Keith leaves behind his best feline friend, "Charlie".
He is survived by his loving mother, Ruth Briddell Lawson of Orlando; his brother, Kim Lawson and wife Tillie Doyle of Crisfield; his sister, Kathy Lawson Dryden and husband Larry C. Dryden of Eden; his aunts, Phyllis Hayden and husband Dr. John Hayden of Lacrosse, Wisconsin and Joyce Briddell of Salisbury; sister-in-law, Ann Ward Lawson of Crisfield; his close personal friend and cousin, Emily Ann Muller of Baltimore, Maryland; many cousins far and wide; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alfred J. "A.J." Lawson, III in 2006.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call Saturday evening from 7-9. Rev. Jack "Tad" Maroon will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
