BETTY LOU LANDON, 65, of Crisfield, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born in Marion Station on May 27, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Grover, Sr. and Catherine Lewis Elliott.
She worked for many years at the former Mrs. Paul's Kitchens in Crisfield until their closing. She later retired from the Princess Anne Food Lion where she worked as account manager.
An alumnus of Marion High School, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and crafts. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace "Bunk" Landon of Crisfield; six children, Cheryl McIntyre and her husband David of Crisfield, Timmy Landon of Crisfield, Laura Goldsborough of Crisfield, Wallace Landon, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Princess Anne, Irma Stromberger of Crisfield and Henry Landon and his wife Amy of Crisfield; ten grandchildren, David McIntyre, Jr., Keith Goldsborough, Danny Goldsborough, Kelly Goldsborough, Leah Marshall, Heather Landon, Catherine Stromberger, Josh Landon, Christopher Landon and Henry Landon, Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Allyson, Austin and Robbie Goldsborough; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Grover Elliott, Jr., Judy Phippin, and Bobby Elliott.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Sam Horner will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Marion Station.
