Betty Lee Kitching, 59, of Princess Anne, died Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Crisfield on April 9, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Douglas Stine and Madeline Taylor Corbin.
She was a homemaker and over the years attended Faith Independent Church in Wenona and Ewell United Methodist Church on Smith Island.
She loved visiting Smith Island and Deal Island and attending events whenever she was able. She loved going to the beach and concerts, crafts, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Terry S. Kitching, Sr. of Princess Anne; three children, Terry S. "T.J." Kitching, Jr. of Deal Island, Leslie Joyner of Manteo, NC, and Jamie Kitching of Nags Head, NC; a sister, Deborah Laird of New Church, VA; eight grandchildren, Jacob Joyner, Chase Joyner, Courtney Joyner, Kayla Reed, Laura Kitching, Katie Kitching, Kenneth Taylor, and Heidi Jo Kitching; a great-grandson, Kolten Ryan; a daughter-in-law, Brandi Dickerson of NC; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Kitching in 2012; and a brother, Douglas Stine.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Faith Independent Church in Wenona.
