Betty Jane Germac Wolfe Gaitley, 89, of Crisfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Baltimore City, MD on February 9, 1928, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Lillian V. Plummer Germac. Her first and second husbands, Lance E. Wolfe and George E. Gaitley both preceded her in death.

She worked in Baltimore as a Saleslady at May Co. Hoschild-Kohn for 20 years up until her retirement in 1975. She moved from Pasadena to Crisfield in 1989, and was a member of the Ladies of the Elks-Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044, B.P.O.E.

She leaves behind her children, Barbara J. Bussells and husband Chris of Hedgesville, WV and Larry E. Wolfe and companion Pam Ors of Whitefield, NH; grandchildren, Gabriel Bussells and wife Kelly of Taneytown, MD and Sierra Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Evan, Paige, and Gavin Bussells of Taneytown, MD; two step-daughters, Donna and Michelle and their families; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister, Edward and Katherine Germac.
