Bessie Marie "Angie" Dugger Martin, 49, of Crisfield, died on Monday, May 19, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness.
Born in Rogersville, Tennessee on November 22, 1958, she was the oldest of three children born to the late James Dugger and Wilma Nadine Thompson. She had been living in Crisfield since 1979, moving from Cleveland, Ohio. Her husband of 25 years, Eddie Dean Martin, died this past February 28th. They were married June 10, 1982.
She was a member of the Walker Memorial Church of God in Princess Anne. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by her mother, Nadine Thompson and husband Giles of Rogersville; two brothers, Steve Dugger of Rogersville and David Dugger and wife Barbara of Bulls Gap, TN; her children, Dana Marshall and husband John, Charlie Martin and wife Jaime, all of Crisfield; Eddie Martin and wife Alison of Princess Anne; step-children, Robert Martin of Ohio and Wendy Chubb and husband David of Michigan; grandchildren, Gina Linton, Samantha and John Marshall all of Crisfield, Christopher Martin of Princess Anne, Evan and Savannah Martin of Ohio, and Mattie and April Williams of Michigan; three brothers in law, Bruce Martin and wife Nancy of Marion Station, Paul Martin and wife Bonnie of Princess Anne, Clifford Taylor of Crisfield; three sisters in law, Linda Mister, Shirley Crockett and husband Preston, all of Crisfield, Kathy Byrd and husband Tony of Parsonsburg, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her husband and father she was preceded in death by her mother in law and father in law, Ida and Charlie Martin, sisters in law, Rosemary Taylor and Ruby Martin, brother in law, Dallas Woody Mister, and several aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
