Bertha Julia Haxter, formerly of Crisfield, and affectionately known as Bunny, went to meet the Lord on Tuesday December 6, 2016 at the age of 89.

Born and raised in Bucks County, PA, Bunny met her husband, John Woodland (Woody) Haxter in Wildwood NJ. Together Woody and Bunny raised five children and did everything together. Bunny loved attending her children's sporting events and enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting, gardening and most of all cooking.

Bunny is survived by her children, Michael(Barbara), David, Brenda(Buddy) and Kevin(Barbara); daughter-in-law Sandy Johnson; nieces, Pat and Frannie; nephew, Stanley; several grandchildren, and grandnieces and nephews.

Bunny was predeceased by her beloved husband, Woody; son, Ronald; sisters, Helen and Stella; brother, Stanley; and niece, Barbara.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 12 pm at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior. Deacon Tom Cimino will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
