Obituary

BEATRICE V. MULGREW, 95, of Crisfield and formerly of Florida and New Jersey, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at McCready Memorial Hopsital in Crisfield.

Born in Palmyra, New Jersey on June 8, 1911, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret Gladney Horton. Her first husband, William Little, and her second husband, Hugh T. Mulgrew, preceded her in death.

A homemaker, Mrs. Mulgrew was a devoted member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Westover. She had been making her home in Crisfield for the past eight years, and was a resident of the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home for the past 2 ½ months.

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Guetens of Crisfield; two sons-in-law, Frank Guetens of Crisfield and Paul Reagle, Sr. of Bellmawr, New Jersey; a daughter-in-law, Mary Mulgrew of Wytheville, Virginia; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Along with her parents and her first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by three children, William Little, Jr., Hugh T. Mulgrew, Jr. and Mary Ann Reagle.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 2, 2007 at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Westover where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Father William Porter will officiate. Interment will follow in the VFW Memorial Cemetery in Crisfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home Building Fund, 201 Hall Highway, Crisfield, MD 21817.

Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield.
