Barbara "Bunky" Sneade Pruitt, 86, of Marion Station and formerly of Crisfield, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home.

Born in Crisfield on April 7, 1929, she was a daughter of the late David Franklin and Angeline Maddrix Sneade. Her husband of 50 years, Preston "Reed" Pruitt, died September 4, 2003.

She was a homemaker and also worked at the Crisfield Cap Factory and the Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed music and dancing, and loved spending time with her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Sproul and husband William of Marion; a sister, Cleo Gerald of Crisfield; a brother, David Sneade and wife Mary Ann of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, Mikki Gale and husband Lonnie of Marion, Ashley Blank and husband Andy of Girdletree, Patricia Tyson and husband Rick of Delta, PA, and Tony Sproul of York, PA; ten great-grandchildren, Alexander Justice, Timothy Mister, Skylar Blank, Andrew Blank, Christopher Fisher, Stephen Tyson, Allena Tyson, Abigail Sproul, Tony Sproul, Jr., and Aaron Sproul; a special niece, Christine Marshall and husband David of Marion; a special nephew, Patrick Gerald of Crisfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Harold "Cudgie" Lord, Jr. on September 6, 2000; and a brother, Tommy Sneade.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
