BARBARA "BOBBIE JEAN" MISTER
BARBARA "BOBBIE JEAN" MISTER, 74, of Crisfield, died Monday, December 27, 2010 at McCready Memorial Hospital.
Born in Crisfield February 9, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Cook and Eugenia Tyler Sterling.
Bobbie Jean was a homemaker, wife, and a wonderful, loving mother. She had a kind word to everyone she met.
She worked for the State of Maryland Cooperative Ext. and after her mother's death, became owner of The Harbor Shop and later, Country Quest Antiques.
Bobbie Jean was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her husband of 54 years, James "Tighty" Mister of Crisfield; a son, Mark Mister and wife Brenda of Salisbury; a daughter, Debbie Brice and husband Nelson of Crisfield; a brother-in-law, Dickie Mister; five grandchildren, Brian Mister, Corlie Brice, Andy Brice, Megan Senft, and Kyle Cole; one great-granddaughter, Audrey; all of Salisbury; and two special nephews, Derik and Billy Mister.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, 2010 at 1 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
