BARBARA ANN BRYAN, 77, of the Heart Ease area of Crisfield, Maryland and formerly of North East, Maryland, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland.
Born in Oxford, Pennsylvania on June 11, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Robert F. and Alberta Johnson Cochran.
She was a retired telephone operator and a faithful member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Crisfield. She had been a resident of Crisfield for the past 21 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia E. Head of Baltimore, Maryland, Kimberly A. Miller of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Robbyn L. Higgs of North East; one step-son, Rick Bryan of Gansevoort, New York; one step-daughter, Vickie C. Taylor of Baltimore; one sister, Darlene Cochran of Allentown, Pennsylvania; one brother, George S. Cochran of Rising Sun, Maryland; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred S. Russell, Jr. in 1981; her second husband, Robert M. Bryan in 2004; and her son, Fred S. Russell, III.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 2 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church in Crisfield. The Rev. Steve Willing will officiate. Friends may call Monday evening from 7-9 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home, 306 West Main Street, in Crisfield, Maryland. Interment will be Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 2 PM in Bayview Cemetery in North East.
