Barbara Ann Bryan, 77, of the Hearts Ease area of Crisfield and formerly of North East, MD, died Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Oxford, PA, on June 11, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Robert F. and Alberta Johnson Cochran.

She was a retired telephone operator and a faithful member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Crisfield. She had been a resident of Crisfield for the past 21 years.

She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia E. Head of Baltimore, Kimberly A. Miller of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Robbyn L. Higgs of North East; one stepson, Rick Bryan of Gansevoort, NY; one step-daughter, Vickie C. Taylor of Baltimore; one sister, Darlene Cochran of Allentown, PA; one brother, George S. Cochran of Rising Sun, MD; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred S. Russell, Jr. in 1981; her second husband, Robert M. Bryan in 2004; and her son, Fred Russell, III

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Asbury United Methodist Church in Crisfield. The Rev. Steve Willing will officiate. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. Interment will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Bayview Cemetery in North East, MD
