B. Joyce Dize, 82, of Crisfield, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield on June 27, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Lola Dize Crockett. Her husband, J. William "Bill" Dize, Sr., preceded her in death on January 1, 1995.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Crisfield Church of God. She loved shopping and spending time with her family. She especially loved being with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, J. William "Bill" Dize, Jr. and wife Cindy of Westover and Barry Dize and wife Stephanie of Fruitland; two sisters, Doris Baker of Baltimore and Jeannie Thomas of Crisfield; ten grandchildren, Robert Sterling, III of Onancock, Michael Sterling of Westover, Tiffany Sterling of Crisfield, John Sterling of Annapolis, Jason Dize, Elaine Dize, and Derek Dize, all of Westover, and Mariah Dize, Noelle Dize and Rachel Dize, all of Fruitland; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Sterling, Jr.; a brother and two sisters, Cyril Crockett, Jr., Anna Brittingham, and Fay Ward.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. The Rev. Philip Morris will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in Asbury Cemetery.

In lieu of flower, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
